KAMLOOPS – The Thompson Rivers WolfPack women's volleyball team will be back at home for a second-consecutive weekend as they get set to take on the No. 2 nationally ranked UBC Thunderbirds inside the TCC.
Facing the Thunderbirds at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, the games will see the 'Pack taking on a team that they have faced in the Canada West postseason for the last two years in a row.
The WolfPack (3-1) enter the weekend after earning a split with Sasktchewan on home court in their last action. TRU
fell 3-1 on Friday night before rebounding with a
dominant 3-0 victory on Saturday.
UBC (3-1) was on a bye last weekend. The Thunderbirds split a pair of games against the Manitoba Bisons in Winnipeg in their last Canada West games.
The Thunderbirds claimed victory in the four games that the two teams played against one another last year.
